Vitamin C is necessary for the formation of collagen protein found in skin, connective tissue, cartilage and bone; it is also an antioxidant nutrient, is essential for wound healing and affects immune responses. Vitamin E helps with antioxidant protection for fats and cholesterol. Vitamins C and E can be oxidized in the process of normal metabolism. This oxidation has the potential to damage cellular structures. The Oxy Max Blend helps to keep vitamins C and E in a re-cycled state, providing all of the value of these vitamins without the harmful effects of oxidation.
