Reduced glutathione (GSH) is absorbed into the blood to support intracellular GSH reserves. Alpha-lipoic acid is a versatile antioxidant and enzyme cofactor for energetics. N-acetyl-cysteine is a potent antioxidant and GSH precursor. Glycine is an antitoxic liver conjugant and GSH precursor. Glutamine is another GSH precursor and a facile energy substrate. Taurine is a major antioxidant conjugant, an important antioxidant, and essential to make bile. PhosphatidylCholine (PC), Phosphatidyl-Ethanolamine (PE) and the other phospholipids are key building blocks for the live cell membranes that are subject to high turnover from toxic damage. Trimethylglycine provides methy equivalents along with PC, to support cell renewal and repair. Both Magnesium, an essential mineral, and pyridoxal vitamin B6 are cofactors for many liver pathways. Molybdenum is an essential mineral and cofactor for sulfite detoxification enzymes. Dandelion root concentrate facilitates bile production.
