Andrew Lessman’s MILLION ORAC derives its name from the ORAC test, which measures the antioxidant power of natural ingredients and foods. The ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) test was developed to objectively assess anti-oxidant power. The higher the ORAC value the greater the anti-oxidant power, and research indicates that consumption of foods with high ORAC values can significantly increase the body’s anti-oxidant activity. Each specially selected ingredient in Million ORAC has an ORAC value in excess of 1,000,000 Units per 100 grams! Our Million ORAC formula combines the anti-oxidant protection and health benefits from standardized extracts of the most powerful plantbased anti-oxidants we were able to locate, test and verify. These ingredients are exceptionally powerful and deliver high concentrations of extremely protective anti-oxidants that target and neutralize a broad range of damaging free radicals. Million ORAC provides a wide array of natural anti-oxidants, including the extremely powerful anti-oxidant polyphenols present in Green and White Teas, which we fur ther standardize for EGCG.
