The quality standard for Colostrum is that it has standardized immunoglobulins (IgG) to 30% of the protein which is what Olympian Labs uses in every batch. Our Colostrum is procured from Grade A dairies of United States origin. Conditions for selection of animals including pregnant dairy cows of good health with no identified infections or metabolic diseases. Colostrum animals are negative for brucellosis and tuberculosis in accordance with generally accepted dairy industry practice. Colostrum is collected from the first day (24 hours) lacteal secretions post partum and is antibiotic and pesticide free. Dairy farms on our liquid procurement program have committed to be free of artificial BST hormone.
