Formulation

Liver Optimizer combines herbs and other nutrients known to impact detoxification and overall liver function. It is especially directed toward Phase 2 enzymes, which assist in the processing and removal of toxic metabolites from the body. Milk thistle extract has been shown to affect glutathione levels and aid in the regeneration of liver cells. R-alpha lipoic acid (the bioactive form) and N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) are also involved in the regulation of glutathione. Sulforaphane Gluco- Sinolate, from broccoli, is a precursor to sulforaphane, an inducer of Phase 2 detoxifying enzymes. Artichoke Extract supports glutathione levels and promotes bile production. B complex vitamins support liver enzymes and promote liver regeneration. Additionally, the nucleoside uridine supports liver detoxification, as does NAC.
