We go the extra 8,000 miles for the highest quality Kava. Our Kava root grows in the rich, volcanic soil of the Vanuatu Islands in the South Pacific, and is considered the best Kava in the world. Unlike commercially cultivated Kava, which is plantation-grown with agricultural chemicals, our Kava roots are grown according to ancient tradition in chemical-free village gardens which we have visited in-person and approved. Our roots are indeed organically grown, but cannot be officially "certified" as such because of the extreme remoteness of the villages. We boycott all wild-harvested Kava. Wild-growing varieties of Kava are very scarce, and because of senseless harvesting are in danger of extinction.
