We prepare our Gentian Extract from the rhizome & roots of Gentiana lutea plants which are Certified Organically Grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. To assure optimal extraction of Gentian's bioactive compounds, the rhizome & roots are hand-harvested only in the autumn, are carefully shade-dried and are then thoroughly extracted. Our Gentian is never fumigated or irradiated.
