We prepare our Clove Extract from the dried flower bud of Syzygium aromaticum trees which are Certified Organically Grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. To assure optimal extraction of Clove's bioactive compounds, the flower buds are hand-harvested when their color changes from green to crimson, are carefully dried to retain their full aroma & flavor, and are then shipped directly to our laboratory and thoroughly extracted.
